Scott Mathieu provides over 20 years of experience in leading and managing large, self-funded client employee benefit relationships to exceptional results. The benefits landscape can be complex and dynamic, and Scott enjoys navigating its changing waters to produce best in class benefit offerings for clients and their members. Scott’s skills include strategic planning, data analysis, risk management, communication, as well as deep industry knowledge specialized in carriers’ medical and RX contracting.
At Hilb Group, Scott has helped developed a process to collaborate with clients to help provide optimal health for their members, manage risk, and be in compliance with all applicable legislation. He helps make real change, and where appropriate challenges the status quo. Recent projects he completed saved two clients he represents $5 million and $800,000 respectively over their three year RX contracts – with no change in out-of-pocket costs.
When not working, Scott can be found coaching his two sons’ sports teams, skiing, surfing and supporting the community through his long-standing participation in March of Dimes.
